The workshop
We work out of a fully equipped unit in Glasgow, and we can also bring the garage to you — tell us which you'd prefer when you enquire. Performance, security and diagnostic work is handled under one roof, and you are welcome to come in, talk it through and book a date.
You will find us directly across from the Shieldhall test centre, with easy access to the M8, Glasgow city centre and Glasgow Airport, so we are well placed for customers across Glasgow and central Scotland. Security systems are fitted here, tested here, and the paperwork is handled here. Remaps are cut on our own equipment during our file provider's hours, so the map is written for your car rather than pulled off a shelf.

Common questions
At our unit at 85 Bogmoor Road in Glasgow, directly across from the Shieldhall test centre. Fitting a tracker or a covert immobiliser means getting properly into a car's wiring, so it is workshop work rather than something done on a driveway.
A tracker deals with what happens after the car has gone: it reports position to a monitoring centre so the vehicle can be found. An immobiliser tries to stop it leaving at all, by refusing to let the engine drive away without a PIN. They solve different halves of the problem, which is why the strongest setups fit both.
On tracking, yes. Monitoring is an annual subscription and the cover depends on it staying live — a lapsed subscription means the requirement your insurer set is no longer being met, and insurers do check at claim time. The first year is included in the fitting price. An immobiliser has no subscription at all.
No, and neither is anyone else. Thatcham certifies products — the S5 and S7 categories — and runs no installer scheme, so "Thatcham-approved installer" describes something that does not exist. The trackers we fit are certified. We are an authorised installer for ScorpionTrack and for Gecko Track, which is a different and real thing.
It is capable of it, which is why the checks matter more than the map. We run diagnostics first and will not tune on top of a fault, every write runs on a 100-amp battery support unit so voltage cannot drop mid-write, and the calibration stays inside limits the engine was built to handle. If your car is not a sensible candidate we will say so.
Yes, if you take the USB backup of your original file. That is your car exactly as it left the factory and it can go back on whenever you want — before selling it, or before a dealer visit.
Yes. A remap is a modification and insurers treat it as one, whether it adds power or is written for economy. Declaring it may change what you pay; not declaring it can leave you without cover at the point you need it.
